| Description |
The 5th International Congress and Exhibition for South-East Europe on Energy Efficiency (EE) & Renewable Energy Sources (RES) will take place in the National Palace of Culture (NDK) on 6-8 April 2009. The events aim at presenting on the SE European market new technology, equipment and services, and attracting the public attention to the practical benefits from renewables and the different means to save energy. As a tradition Germany will be the Strategic Partner of this initiative, while due to its dynamic development in the energy sector Austria will be the Country in Focus. Again in 2009 the forums will be organized with the institutional support of European Commission – Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign.
Congress 2008: 54 speakers from 16 countries; 400 attendees from 24 countries.
Exhibition 2008: 42 direct exhibitors from 8 countries; 3120 professional visitors from 26 countries.
NOTE: The 5-th edition of the EE & RES Congress & Exhibition in 2009:
* Will again be held with the institutional support of the European Commission Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign.
* So far confirmed participations from exhibition participants in 2008: German Pavilion and Global Wind Power, Denmark.
* Austria will be the country in the Congress focus; Germany will again be the Strategic partner.
