Global Conference on Power Control and Optimization (PCO'2009)

1-3 June 2009, Bali, Indonesia

It is our great pleasure to announce the first event of the international conference on Power Control and Optimization (PCO'2009) organized by and Curtin University of Technology, Malaysia.

The vision of PCO-09 is to bring today's highly inspiring and precision innovative research and resource development for tomorrow's industry in power and control. It has the mission to highlight innovative research and development of academics and industrial experts in the area of power control and its optimization techniques, and to provide a forum to disseminate the results to all industrial sectors in power quality, automation, business, finance, economics and management. Also, to bring all necessary information of the most recent and relevant innovations in regard to the theories and practices in industrial engineering and management, where a constructive dialogues on theoretical concepts, practical ideas and results of the state of the art will be developed.

The main objective of PCO-09 is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, practitioners and academicians as well as industrial professionals to present their research results and development activities.

This conference, as part of discussing the results, ensures to provide opportunities for delegates to exchange new innovative ideas and application experiences face to face, and to provide a platform where possible entrepreneurs can think of new ventures, or generate research contacts and find global partners for future collaboration.

Additional Information

PCO 2009 belongs to a civilian society. Professional academics are the organizers from more than one organization. The organizing committee members are from Curtin University of Technology, Sarawak, Malaysia, Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia, and University Technology Petronas, Malaysia. This global conference is in full collaboration with many learned societies of international journals, conferences and publishers. Those are partly the technical sponsors of this conference and partly offering special issues, accepting some of the conference papers to be published in their journals. The primary goal of PCO'2009 is on creating a unique opportunity for all participants across the globe to become "connected" and share knowledge, ideas and practices in global grounds. This global link will bring a significant contribution to the global body of the knowledge for human kind.. The global conference also uses one of the public email addresses and common website of any domain name which are not necessary to have the name of the conference. Global is unconditional system, flexible, considers all nation systems, has unique registration system and using a union currency.
