The 2nd national JWC conference, Expanding the boundaries of tissue viability, will bring together leading experts to discuss how to achieve effective multidisciplinary working to improve patient outcomes. Topics will include:
• Why we need better multidisciplinary working
• Implications of practice-based commissioning for tissue viability
• How to promote the needs of tissue viability to procurement managers, pharmacists and supplies
• Developing an effective multidisciplinary pathway
• Establishing and maintaining good working relationships between tissue viability practitioners and specialists in dermatology, infection control, continence care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and podiatry
