The 32nd All India Criminology Conference and the 3rd International Conference of the Indian Society of Criminology is to be organized in collaboration with the Department of Social Work, Bangalore University Bangalore during 25, 26 and 27 of February 2009. SCIENTIFIC PAPERS FOR THE ISC BEST RESEARCH PAPER AWARD
Research papers based on empirical studies are invited only from young research scholars /students below the age of 35 years for presentation at the scientific session. The paper adjudged as the best , will be awarded the ISC - GOLD MEDAL. The papers for this scientific session and the award should be sent to Dr.S.Latha, Secreary, The Indian Society of Criminology, Department of Criminology, University of Madras, Chennai â€“600 005.The last date for receipt of scientific papers is 15th January, 2009.
REQUEST FOR REGISTRATION
Request for registration of delegates should reach Dr.Ghandi Doss, Organising Secretary, in the enclosed form, along with a Demand Draft,favouring â€œ32nd ALL INDIA CRIMINOLOGY CONFERENCE â€œ payable at Bangalore. The last date for Registration is 15th January,2009.
The registration fee for the delegates are as follows :
Registration on or before 15th January,2009 Rs. 750/-
Late Registration after due date and upto 31st January,2009 Rs. 1000/-
Registration on or before 15th January,2009 Rs.400/-
Registration after due date and upto 31st January,2009 Rs. 500/-

Registration fee , once paid , will not be refunded even if the enrollee does not turn up for the conference. However, conference material in such cases can be obtained from the Conference Secretariat within 15 days after the Conference is over. Delegates desiring official deputation to the Conference may kindly write to Dr.Ghandi Doss, Organising Secretary, giving the details about the authorities to be addressed in this regard.
Arrangements for the accommodation of the delegates will be made in Hostels, Guest Houses and Hotels. The per head and per day charges will depend on the type of accommodation and availability. Those desirous of booking their accommodation through the Conference Secretariat, may indicate the type of accommodation prefferred by them, in the Registration Form and the charges in full should also be sent in advance. Dormitory type accommodation , besides 3/4 bedded rooms on sharing basis (for Students) will be arranged, provided the exact number of students is intimated by their respective Professors / Heads of Departments well in advance (even before the due date) to enable the organizers to block the requirements. The current rates / Tariff in some of the Hostels and Hostels , near the venue of the Conference, is annexed.

Courtesy transport will be available for the delegates Bangalore City Railway Station to places of their stay on Feb 24th from 0700 hrs to 20hrs. Bangalore offers a variety of city transport systems â€“Autorickshaws, Taxis , Buses etc. The venue of the conference and the accommodation is within 1 Km from the Railway Station.
