Dedicated to a multi-disciplinary approach for addressing the current and sometimes controversial issues for
the team physician including the political, ethical, and financial aspects of setting the stage to further relationships
between teams and team physicians. This symposium will provide first-hand insight into areas beyond the
traditional role of the team physician. The objectives of this unique program are to understand and avoid pitfalls
facing team physicians, develop better methods to build relationships with teams, comprehend the issues
surrounding team physicians such as ethics and identify key medical issues that impact the role of the team
physician.
