International Conference of STEM in Education 26 to 27 November 2010 Brisbane, Australia The School of Mathematics, Science and Technology Education, Queensland University of Technology, invites you to participate and network at the inaugural international conference of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Education at QUT on 26th and 27th November 2010. The purpose of the STEM in Education Conference is to create opportunities for: * information and knowledge sharing through paper/poster presentations, symposia, workshops, and innovative showcases; * modelling effective pedagogical practices while enhancing content knowledge; * sharing research initiatives and outcomes; * professional development for educators in a range of educational contexts; and * networking between participants. Participants: Academics, researchers, teachers, education officers, industry partners, postgraduate and undergraduate students. The conference will be capped at 400 participants. Keynote speakers include: Professor Sir John Holman (Science), Professor Jeremy Roschelle (Technology), Professor Frank Bullen (Engineering), and Distinguished Professor Richard Lesh (Mathematics).
