Anchored as the region’s annual premier event, Utusan Melayu (Malaysia) Berhad and Expomal International Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry of Malaysia will once again present The 10th MIFB which is to be held from 9 – 11 July 2009 at the Putra World Trade Center, Kuala Lumpur. MIFB 2009 is also endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) and recognized by UFI (The Global Association of The Exhibition Industry) as an “UFI Approved Event”.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary next year, MIFB will host the broadest showcase of F & B products and services, ranging from agriculture, processed food, food machinery to food service.
We are also pleased to inform that with the success of inaugural special fly-in buyer program at MIFB 2008 where more than 20 buyers from Middle East and Singapore visited MIFB 2008 to source for food & beverage products, we shall continue the said program for MIFB 2009.
MIFB 2008 concluded on a high note with record turn up of 13,872 trade visitors from 43 countries, with 80% were decision makers reflecting the industry’s continual confidence in this region’s annual premier F&B trade event. Eight hundred and three successful one-to-one business matchmaking sessions were conducted over the course of the 3 days, as international buyers and sellers congregated for pre-arranged business talks. MIFB 2008 also recorded RM103 million worth of business transactions during the 3 days exhibition.
