The International Center for Leadership in Education will host its 16th Annual Model School Conference on June 22-25 in Orlando, Fla. The nation’s premier conference on K-12 school improvement will showcase the most successful high schools, middle grade programs, elementary schools, and career and technical education programs that focus on rigorous and relevant learning. During the Conference, national education experts and model school representatives will offer:
• strategies to create a culture of change to drive school improvement
• research-based whole school/district reform models
• best practices and model programs for struggling learners
• the nation’s best resources for instructional improvement
The Conference will feature how-to sessions on curriculum and instruction, special education, literacy, success on state exams, and transitional programs. Additionally, there will six one-day PreConferences on Sunday, June 22, and Dr. Willard R. Daggett, President of the International Center, will conduct a Post-Conference on June 25-26.
