Call for Abstracts
We invite you to submit an abstract for participation in a Poster Session. Deadline for abstract submission is Friday, March 14, 2008. To receive complete instructions for abstract submission, please send an email to IPHconf@nyas.org. Type the words Abstract Information in the subject line. (You do not need to type a message.) Instructions will be forwarded automatically. Any questions, call 212.298.3725.
Abstract submission does not guarantee a seat at the conference. You must register via the website or the fax form to ensure a seat.
Although the organizing committee has selected a group of outstanding speakers, ten additional speakers will be chosen from submitted abstracts to present during data blitz sessions at the conference. In addition, the meeting is planned so the posters will be an integral component of the meeting.
Fellowships
Subject to available funding, a limited number of fellowships in the form of travel stipends will be awarded to qualified junior investigators. Individuals applying for a fellowship will be expected to author a poster presentation (sole or first authorship is not required). Applicants must provide an original fellowship request letter on letterhead (university department, organization etc.) with a counter signature from a department chair or supervisor verifying student, postdoc or fellow status. Mail this original letter to: The New York Academy of Sciences, Attn: Crystal Ocampo, 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, 40th Floor, New York, NY 10007-2157, for receipt by Friday, March 14, 2008. (Email and fax letters will not be accepted.)
