| Description |
On behalf of the APS, I am delighted to invite delegates to the 43rd APS Annual Conference, to be held in Hobart, Tasmania, from 23 to 27 September 2008.
Come and join your national and international colleagues in beautiful Tasmania to hear outstanding plenary speakers, exciting symposia and fora, interactive workshops from leading psychologists, papers and posters reporting ground-breaking research.
The conference will be held at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, which is situated on the waterfront in downtown Hobart. Just walk across the road from the hotel to see fishing boats docked at the wharf or take an easy stroll to the historic Salamanca area with its art galleries, restaurants and famous Saturday market. The Hotel Grand Chancellor is an intimate venue with concurrent sessions being held in rooms located in close proximity to the exhibitors' area and the magnificent Federation Concert Hall, home to the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and the venue for the plenary sessions.
We hope that you will come to Hobart and participate in what will be a fantastic meeting in one of the most picturesque locations in Australia.
