Join this graduate level, two-week, interactive training workshop and learn how to apply current engineering methods to reduce the transmission of airborne diseases. This program is globally unique in that it is the first time anyone has identified and put together a body of information needed to control airborne infections.
Core issues examined in this program are pandemic influenza, drug resistant strains of tuberculosis, SARS, and select bioterrorism agents. Special weight is placed on interventions that are feasible, yet effective, in developing countries where resources are limited.
