http://www.breastfeedingwa.org/conference
New scientific evidence is emerging that highlights the role of chemical contaminants in
later life disease. These same chemical contaminants are threatening the once pristine
nature of breastmilk. However, strong evidence also suggests that human breastmilk remains the optimal source of infant nutrition for growth and development, and significantly contributes to disease prevention and overall health. As health practitioners, how do we keep up with new information about environmental health that can have a profound impact on how we understand the origins and contributors to disease and apply that information to a clinical setting?
