The members of the PSR/RPS Manitoba Board are excited to be hosting the PSR/RPS National Conference this year in Winnipeg, MB. Our keynote speaker is Bill McPhee, CEO/Founder of Schizophrenia Digest. We have had an overwhelming response to the call for submission of papers for our National Conference. Topics will include Housing, Substance Use Disorders, Spirituality, Vocation, Deinstitutionalization and Recovery stories. These topics will appeal to a variety of people, whether they are consumers, family, practitioners, students or researchers/policy makers. We are working on having the CPRP exam at this time as well.
To welcome delegates, we will be hosting an authentic Manitoba Social during the evening of September 17, 2008, which will include our own well-known comedian Big Daddy Tazz (visit www.bigdaddytazz.com), as well as musical entertainment.
