Description Prepare to be a highly successful senior administrator in Student Affairs.

The Institute for Aspiring SSAOs is a professional development opportunity designed to help you advance your career by providing an engaging environment for you to reflect on your personal and professional aspirations. The Institute is designed for higher education administrators, currently in mid-level managerial positions, contemplating a move to a senior student affairs officer (SSAO) position in the near future.

Through large group presentations and small group discussions you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced SSAOs in the field, discover new perspectives, gain insights and knowledge that can be applied to your own life, and connect with talented colleagues who will be the next leaders in the field.

Participants from all types of higher education institutions will converge in Clearwater Beach, FL, for an agenda filled with topics to help you advance to the next stage of your career. Session topics will include strategic thinking; leading change; planning for career advancement and continual development; and personal and professional life balance.

The Institute for Aspiring SSAOs is offered once every two years.
