The Southern Association of Agricultural Experiment Station Directors (SAAESD), Northeastern Regional Association of State Agricultural Experiment Station Directors (NERA) and Cooperative State Research, Education, and Extension Service (CSREES) are pleased to host a two-day workshop on grant writing. The Grantsmanship Workshop focuses on CSREES-USDA Funding Opportunities, with an emphasis on the National Research Initiative Competitive Grants Program (NRICGP), Higher Education, Multicultural Alliances and International Programs, Integrated Research, Education and Extension Programs, Children Youth and Families At Risk Program,Pest Management Alternatives Program (PMAP), and Small Business Innovation Research Programs (SBIR). Starting from Fiscal Year 2007, the National Research Initiative and a number of other competitive grants programs will accept ONLY electronic application submissions through Grants.gov. There will be an exhibit at the workshop to provide an opportunity to ask questions and have queries addressed by key agency personnel.
