| Description |
Interest in conducting Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs) in Europe has grown exponentially over the past few years. Despite the high level of interest, the regulatory oversight in place underneath the EU Directive has mandated that each country within the EU constructs their own rules and regulations for IITs. Consequently, each country has different clinical trial requirements than its neighbor, resulting in extensive confusion when preparing to conduct a trial within that country’s borders, or even transfer a drug from one country to another.
ExL Pharma’s ultimate goal for this conference is to create a “meeting of the minds” in which participants review the latest regulations and share experiences and insight into the successful preparation and completion of IITs in the European Union.
