AITEC Africa and leading suppliers of wireless and satellite technologies will be hosting for the first time in the region a communication event which will be covering among other technologies, Satellite, Wireless Broadband, VoIP, Fibre & Open Access. East Africa is on the eve of a communications revolution, which will be brought about by the landing of the region’s first undersea cable to the outside world in 2009.
The conference main objection is to enlighten and prepare government and corporate users in the region for the transition from a predominantly satellite-based communications infrastructure to a fibre cable-based communications infrastructure.
The East African Communications Baraza will provide a platform for all stakeholders to assess these exciting developments and the impact they will have on their organizations.
