Description A child's development is complex. Each child is unique and will develop at their own speed through a sequence of steps toward solid goals. Their paths can vary greatly due to factors in the child’s environment and the experiences he or she has.

Ultimately, regardless of social or economic level, we must earn to recognize each individual child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual strengths… and then we must teach directly to those strengths to ensure that a child has the opportunity to grow and mature into a strong adult.

Presenters include:

Dr. Mel Levine - Professor of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina Medical School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and founder of All Kinds of Minds, and author of A Mind at a Time and Ready or Not, Here Life Comes

Dr. Bruce Perry - Senior Fellow of the Child Trauma Academy, and author of The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog: What Traumatized Children Can Teach Us About Loss, Love and Healing

Dr. Ruby Payne - Founder and CEO of the aha! Process, and author of A Framework for Understanding Poverty

Ron Clark– Founder of the Ron Clark Academy, and Disney Teacher of the Year 2000
