| Description |
Products designed for today’s market and the processes used to develop them must be reliable and effective in operation. Historically new technologies need decades to evolve and become ‘reliable’, but today, due to time and cost, engineers are required to forecast the ‘’expected reliability’’ of a product with only limited available data.
This ‘’expected reliability’’ however is not an exact science, and needs engineering judgment to be applied correctly.
This one-day seminar will look at the issues this forecasting brings up as well as demonstrate the methods of analysis that can be used. Speakers will present case histories of their products, enabling engineers to learn of the problems encountered, their solution and the outcome of the decisions made.
