Nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other health care professionals involved with the care of oncology and hematology patients. The purpose of this symposium is to provide current information about nursing clinical practice and research, and to provide participants with practical strategies and hands-on tools to improve their nursing practice.
Topics include: Resiliency and Self Care for Nurses: The Time has Come, End-of-Life Decision Making, Nursing Research: From Paper to Practice, Update on Novel Therapies in the Management of Hematologic and Oncologic Disorders, Caring for the Siblings of Children with Cancer, Evidence-based Practice in Patient and Family Centered Care, Disparities in Cancer care, Updates on Treatments of Sarcoma, Breast Cancer & Multiple Myeloma.
