Description
Across the globe the rules of the business game have been altered with the advent of ICTs. More importantly, adoption of ICTs has given new direction to the expectations of emerging digital and inter–connected economies of the ever–evolving and dynamic world. Year 2000 onwards the increased impacts of internet and related technologies have refurbished the traditional notions of doing business across the nations.
The Swarnim Gujarat Management Conclave focuses on issues related to exploiting opportunities through ICT for SMEs. The E–Biz Summit as a part of the conclave will discuss and deliberate various topics where SMEs can take advantage of re–orienting and re–aligning their business practices so as to integrate "e" into their main stream of business.
The Gujarat Government, under the visionary leadership of Shri Narendra Modi as Chief Minister is undertaking path breaking initiatives by developing state of art ICT infrastructure which, if remained unutilized and underutilized, the SMEs will remain unconnected with the outer–world, in turn would be deprived of immense business opportunities. Particularly, when we are passing through recessing time, newer ways of doing business have to be sought for. The future and shape of national economic landscape will depend on how SMEs respond to emerging challenges; hence it is imperative that our efforts and approach don't impede ICT adoption by SMEs in the country.
This summit as a part of Swarnim Gujarat Management Conclave will provide a platform for meaningful learning through discussion and deliberation among participants, particularly our friend from the SMEs.
