| Description |
ISCISC which is organized by ISC – Iranian Society of Cryptology - is an annual international conference covering contemporary research in and applications of Cryptology and Information Security. The event was first initiated as a biannual conference (ISCC) in Imam Hussain University in 2001, ISCC’03 in Sharif University of Technology, ISCC’5 in Isfahan University of Technology, ISCC’07 in Iran University of Science & Technology and then changed to an annual international conference with the current name ISCISC when it was held in Malek Ashtar University of Technology in 2008 (ISCISC'08). As a sequel, the 6th Conference, ISCISC'09 will be held in University of Isfahan, Isfahan, Iran. Continuing its past success, ISCISC 2009 aims to attract high quality research articles in all technical aspects of information security and cryptology.

Scope
The purpose of ISCISC 2009 is to bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners interested in various aspects of information security and cryptology. The conference aims to provide opportunity for academicians and specialists in a national and international scope to meet and discuss the latest developments in theory, emerging technologies, and progress in standards, services and their applications in various areas of information security. Special sessions, case-studies and tutorials dedicated to technical/scientific topics related to the conference are also envisaged: researchers interested in organizing a special session or holding a tutorial, or companies interested in presenting their products/methodologies are invited to contact the conference secretariat.

Paper Submission
Authors may submit their original papers in either of Farsi or English languages, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling, using the on-line submission procedure. Each paper should begin with a title, a short abstract, and a list of keywords, following the conference template.
The guidelines for paper formatting provided at the conference web site must be strictly used for all submitted papers. Each paper should clearly indicate the nature of its technical/scientific contribution, and the problems, domains or environments to which it is applicable.
Publications
Every submitted paper will be carefully refereed by at least two reviewers. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. Accepted papers, presented at the conference by one of the authors, will be published in the Proceedings of ISCISC 2009 as well as the conference CD. Extended versions of selected best papers published in the ISCISC 2009 will be invited for additional referee and publication in the ISC International Journal of Information Security (ISeCure).
