Description

Course Description

This two-day seminar will provide the tools to design foundations for pump vibrations. You will learn the difference between reciprocating and centrifugal forces and how to apply them in foundation design. The basis of dynamic behaviour on foundations are explored with respect to the history, theory, soil properties, code requirements and application of the out-of-balance forces. Foundations can be soil-bearing or on piles so spreadsheets. STAAD and Dyna5 inputs are demonstrated.

Who Should Attend

Professionals in civil/structural engineering looking to expand their design knowledge into dynamic behaviour on foundations. This course will provide the attendee with a fundamental grasp to undertake their own practical design.
