Conference Overview
Nurses and other health care providers are faced with critical patient care decisions every day. These professionals can be most effective in optimizing care delivery when their institutions’ policies and procedures integrate the latest research findings into clinical practice. “Nursing Practice Based on Evidence: Moving Science Into Action,” the sixth annual evidence-based practice conference jointly sponsored by the University of Maryland School of Nursing and the VA Maryland Health Care System, will bring together some of the industry’s leading experts to present their ideas for ensuring that sound research evidence is efficiently translated into practice to produce the best possible outcomes for patients and clients.
