| Description |
The 18th International Conference BALTMATTRIB 2009 continues the tradition of the previous regular meetings by addressing the core fundamentals as well as timely topics on the leading edges of materials engineering and tribology.
The Conference will be organized by the Materials Societies of the Baltic Countries as well as the Association of Baltic Materials Societies (ABMS).
The Conference will focus on engineering materials, coatings and tribology.
Contributions on the following topics are especially welcome:
* advanced materials and materials engineering;
* powder materials and powder metallurgy;
* coatings and surface engineering;
* tribology.
The selected papers of the Conference will be published in the Special Issue of Estonian Journal of Engineering.

The authors are invited to submit a single page 300 - 600 words long abstract for an oral presentation. Poster presentations are not accepted. The guidelines for the abstract can be downloaded <a href="http://baltmattrib2009.ttu.ee/AbstractTemplate.doc" target=new>here. The abstracts should be submitted to the e-mail address <a href="mailto:baltmattrib2009@ttu.ee">baltmattrib2009@ttu.ee.
The length of the full papers should not exceed 6 pages.
The Conference fee is 250 EURO, for students and members of EMSS and ABMS - 150 EURO.
