AFRIHealth 2009 will be hosted in Kenya at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre, Nairobi.
Dates:14th- 16th July 2009
This is the third successive year for our prestigious Pan African conference which has gained recognition for the diversity and content of its presentations.
We are also proud of our work groups which are addressing issues raised at the previous conferences and will report back on progress to date at the 2009 conference.
Theme:
“ICT and Patient Safety – Are We Doing Enough For Africa?”
Since our first conference there has been a noticeable change in the pace of ICT development work in the Healthcare industry but much of this has yet to filter through and have the expected impact.
We have had outstanding presentations from many African and International speakers at our previous conferences and 2009 will be no exception.
We must encourage the introduction of systems that ensure speedy and accurate delivery of prescribed medication/treatment and that will also enhance patient safety.
AFRIHealth 2009, supported by the Kenyan Ministry of Medical Services, will provide the ideal forum for debate and action.
