Launched in 2006, Music Matters is conducted in the heart of the world’s most dynamic region and is Asia’s only annual conference dedicated to the business of music. The event was created by, with & for the Music industry, bringing together major players from the entertainment eco-system to discuss, debate, do business whilst watching some of the hottest up and coming acts in Asia.
Created, managed and promoted by Branded, the Music Matters programme is customised with the assistance of an advisory board comprising of senior representatives from across the entertainment value chain including majors, independents, promoters, digital retail, lawyers, financiers, mobile and media.
Music Matters is being held 2-4th June, Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong.
Previous speakers have included U2’s manager Paul McGuinness, Warner Music’s Edgar Bronfman jnr, Universal Music’s Max Hole, Linkin Park manager Rob McDermott, Edison Chen, Rock Music’s Sam Duann, Nokia’s global head of entertainment Tero Ojanpera, Nile Rodgers, Harvey Goldsmith and a host of other Asian and international “players”.
The ongoing success of Music Matters clearly demonstrates the attention the Asia Pacific is deservedly receiving from the rest of the world and that the business of Music…Matters!
