| Description |
The ITF is pleased to announce that the 16th ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference 2009 will be held in Valencia, Spain from 30 October – 3 November 2009. The event is being organised by the ITF in conjunction with the Real Federación Española de Tenis.
The theme of this year’s Conference is Developing Competencies for Elite Players and Coaches and the conference will deal with issues related to high level player development, professional tennis coaching, applied sport science for top coaching and coaches’ education. In addition, there will be sessions involving Marketing of the Game and the ITF´s Play and Stay campaign.
The ITF Worldwide Coaches Conference is the showpiece of the ITF’s Coach Education Programme. This five-day event offers a perfect combination of coaches’ education, the latest sport science information and practical on-court coaching presentations.
The event, which is held every two years, has been held in America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.

The package for this year’s ITF WORLDWIDE COACHES CONFERENCE is significantly different to previous years and does not include accommodation. This change provides attendants with the flexibility to adapt their Conference experience to their own needs. In addition, the package does not include lunch on day 3, or dinners on days 2, 3 and 4 of the Conference. (please refer to the programme)
The Conference package is as follows:
— Price: 200 €*
Package includes:
• Attendance to all presentations
• Conference resources (official programme and DVD with the proceedings of the Conference)
• Official conference bag and cap
• Morning and afternoon coffee-breaks during the Conference
• Buffet lunches on days 1, 2, 4 and 5 of the Conference
• Official opening cocktail party
• Official closing dinner
• Daily, free transportation between the official Conference hotels and the Conference venue on the official days of the Conference.
• Free transportation between Valencia airport and the official Conference hotels and vice versa on the arrival and departure days.
• One free ticket per attendant for one of the qualifying sessions and one for one of the main draw sessions of the Open Tenis Valencia 500 tournament.

Important!
Please remember that the Conference package does not include accommodation, lunch on day 3 or dinners on days 2, 3 and 4 of the Conference.
