The 18th International Conference BALTMATTRIB 2009 continues the tradition of the previous regular meetings by addressing the core fundamentals as well as timely topics on the leading edges of materials engineering and tribology.
The BALTMATTRIB Conference is arranged every year and the site for the Conference is circulating among Baltic countries. BALTMATTRIB is intended as a forum where researchers and industrialists can present their latest achievements, discuss and solve problems focused on materials issues and tribology.
All aspects of tribology are welcomed as topics for papers including experimental and theoretical work, as well as case studies. Presentations dealing with practical problems and their solutions are especially welcome for promoting collaboration between universities, research institutes and industry.
