| Description |
The Nanotechnology Health & Safety Forum (NHSF) will coincide with the first meeting of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) / International Organization for Standardization (ISO) TC 229 held in the United States, and will mark the 10th Anniversary of the White House interagency group's proposal for the world's first national nanotechnology initiative The ANSI / ISO meeting will gather more than 250 international delegates in Seattle to address the development of international standards related to the health and safety of nanotechnology, and to ensure its deployment as a safe and viable technology throughout the world. The NHSF conference, sponsored by Battelle, the University of Washington, the University of Oregon, and Oregon State University will provide a unique opportunity to connect with members involved in this international effort.
