Gravity+Grace
Project creator, artist Frank Ferraro, was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2000. He began to keep a journal of how this disease has affected his ability to live, work, and create. Ferraro explains, "I began to shape these journal entries into short one-act performance plays. The result of the journal entries is the operatic work in progress, Gravity+Grace.
Join us Saturday, March 28 at 7pm as artist Frank Ferraro and composer discuss the creative process behind the upcoming opera, Gravity+Grace. Free and open to the public, the event will feature the live premier of selected music from the project by Stephen Pellegrino, as well as an opportunity to meet contributing artists Jay Del Greco, Ben Hernstrom, and Jamie Erin Murphy.
