For the 2009 Inside Aerospace forum, The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) has partnered with the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA), the Aerospace Department Chairs Association (ADCA), the Air Force Association (AFA), and SAE International to maintain focus on the aerospace workforce, taking into account industry, academic, and government perspectives.

The Theme: Building and Retaining the Aerospace Workforce encompasses two overarching topics:

Preparation and Motivation: Pre-career development activities must be supported to ensure the availability of a skilled pool of fresh talent with the background necessary to succeed in the aerospace industry.

Professional Development: The needs of those already in the aerospace workforce must be addressed, to retain skilled professionals and evolve their capabilities as technology progresses.

The forum will bring in viewpoints of educators, industry, aerospace professionals, government representatives, and non-government organizations.

Additional Information $200 before 13 April 2009

$300 after 13 April 2009
