OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE
Consideration of scientific and technical achievements, determination of the promising trends of researches organization of international collaboration in the field of petroleum chemistry and oil refining.
In the program of conference will be first of all included the reports of the problematic, generalizing nature in the promising trends of researches.
SUBJECT OF THE CONFERENCE
• Ecological problems of petroleum chemistry and oil refining and new catalysts for creating the ecologically harmless technologies of oil refining and petrochemistry;
• Application of nanotechnologies, nano-materials and nano-catalysis in the oil refining and petrochemical processes;
• Ionic-liquid and supercritical methods and technologies in the processes of oil refining and petroleum chemistry;
• Renewable biological sources for obtaining of fuels, oils and petrochemical raw material;
• Promising polymerizing processes and technologies.
WHAT PROPOSES THE CONFERENCE
Complete program of plenary and sectional reports, round table discussions, exhibition, business meetings, the visit of the laboratories of higher educational institutions, research institutes and plants, cultural program and etc.
REGULATIONS OF THE WORK
Official languages of the conference:
English, Russian, Azerbaijani.
Duration of the reports at the plenary meeting – 30 minutes.
Duration of the reports at the sectional session – 15 minutes.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PREPARATION OF CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
The scientific program of conference provides plenary and oral communications and poster sections.
Plenary reports and theses of oral reports (1,5-2 pages of the format A4) will be published in the form of separate proceedings. They must satisfy the following requirements:
• the name of the work (it is printed by large font);
• name, surname of the authors;
• organization, city, country.
The texts of reports are printed on the computer using program Microsoft Word, with size of margins from the right and from the left – 20mm, from the above and from below – 30mm, the size of font - 12 pt, in English, Russian or Azerbaijani languages and should be presented to the organization committee in 2 copies (second copy is signed by all authors and the name of speaker is emphasized) in printed version of the format A4 and also on CD.
One author has the right to participate only in the three reports (including plenary).
In the case of the non-fulfillment of the said conditions the theses will be rejected.
We do not edit theses and the author bears responsibility for accuracy and authenticity of information.
We announce that the acceptance of theses for oral and poster presentations will be till 01.06.2009, complete texts of plenary reports till 01.07.2009.
Information for participants about accepted reports will be from 01.08.2009.

REGISTRATION OF PARTICIPANTS
The participants of the conference will be registered on September 28, 2009 in the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (Istiglaliyyat str., 10).
Registration fee for the participation in the work of conference is established in the size of 100$ (USD) (for the students and the graduate students) and 150$ (USD) for the remaining participants, which can be paid also at the registration.
Registration fee includes expenditures for the publication of the proceedings of theses, program of the conference, informational materials, cultural program, coffee breaks and transport expenditures.
