Venue
Description The organizers invite you to submit a poster abstract to one of the sessions of the sixteenth conference in the series dedicated to Biochemical Engineering. The Biochemical Engineering Conference, started in 1978, continues to be the preeminent venue for discussing research at the cutting edge of this broad and rapidly expanding field. A goal of this international conference has always been to bring together established and newer academic and industrial scientists and engineers from diverse backgrounds to discuss core areas such as upstream & downstream processing and education along with new research areas. As this conference series enters its fourth decade, BE XVI will continue to explore the past, present and future of Biochemical Engineering by offering sessions in both fundamental areas of research as well as in novel areas such as bioenergy, vaccines, and stem cells. The venue for the meeting is Burlington, Vermont, in the heart of the beautiful and historic Lake Champlain area.

Please go to the Application Form to apply for an invitation and the Abstract Submission Page to submit an abstract. Conference attendees will be selected based on participation in the meeting through poster or oral presentations or other contributions to the meeting. A select number of graduate students will also be invited to attend and present their work.
