In an era of diminishing energy and material resources, it is vitally important to develop innovative structural materials for high-temperature and high-strength applications. The objective of this conference is to provide an international forum for the presentation and discussion of recent progress in advanced structural materials. This is a timely conference in view of recent advances in microanalytical tools and computational methods, all of which play vital roles in understanding the fundamentals
of design of advanced structural materials.
The International Conference on Advanced High-Temperature and High-Strength Structural Materials will be held in Harbour Plaza Metropolis Hotel and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong during 4-8 October 2009.
