DGI Central & Eastern Europe is set to become the region’s largest annual gathering dedicated to discussing the major challenges of integrating the region’s defence and government Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities into the EU and NATO operations around the world.
DGI CEE will bring together Heads of Geospatial Intelligence, GIS, Remote Sensing, Operations, and Imagery and Analysis, to provide a unique forum to discuss and debate the challenges and future strategies for GIS capabilities in Central & Eastern Europe.
The conference will address the use of GIS in scenarios such as situational awareness, full in-theatre & strategic interoperability, cooperation between the new member states, border control, refugee trafficking prevention, environmental protection, crime, security.
