| Description |
The recent issues in global energy crisis cause overwhelming impacts on the global economy. This increase has caused those involved in the building industry to have more concern in integrating sustainable design in architecture and urban planning. Design orientated to environmental approach has become a major concern and is recently receiving widespread attention. It becomes more important than ever as a potential solution of the current energy crisis. With the conference theme "Issues in Global Energy Crisis and Its Impact on Design" - a platform to all participants to discuss on this issue about holistic design towards sustainable development.
The objectives of the conference are to give an opportunity to academicians, researchers, urban planners, architects, engineers, post-graduates, and those involved in housing, building and planning industries to discuss issues in relation to global energy crisis in architecture and urban design as follows:

The accepted papers will be published in hardcopy "Proceeding Book" with ISBN number.
Participants interested in presenting oral and poster presentations are invited to submit their abstract of between 200 – 250 words in electronic file for consideration by the conference committee. The accepted papers will be published in a hardcopy "Proceeding Book" with ISBN number. Excellent papers will be published in the journals.
