The “Invest in International Shipping” Forum hosted by Capital Link is an investor focused event held annually in New York where the world's most influential CxO level executives of US and Foreign listed shipping companies gather and examine the macroeconomic issues that are shaping international shipping and further provide investors with a comprehensive review and outlook of the various shipping markets right after the companies’ annual results.
Now in its 4th year, the “Invest in International Shipping” Forum takes place on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Metropolitan Club in New York City.
The financial turmoil as a result of the global credit crisis is creating both opportunities and uncertainty to those who invest in international shipping. The full implication to the shipping investment community remains unclear. Investors find it important to evaluate the current and future financial status of international shipping markets and also understand how shipping companies can continue to finance their vessels and projects.
The “Invest in International Shipping” Forum established itself as a major industry event and has grown to an annually attendance in excess of 600 attendees. Given the current turmoil in the global financial and shipping markets, we believe that our conference has great timing and will attract significant interest from investors and ship owners.
The Forum’s target audience includes institutional investors and analysts, bankers, financial advisors, financial media and other qualified investors. The event will be open to the whole sell side brokerage community.
