Topic: What can YOUth contribute to the solution of global challenges?!
Aim: To awaken the interest of young people for global issues by engaging them in critical and constructive discussions conducted by young change makers and respected personalities and motivate them to take a further step towards becoming active members of their communities.
Target: The EYS ’09 aims at students who think critically and believe in a better and peaceful world and want to get involved in the field of global change, but have still not found a way to do it. Students from all programs of study are welcome, since we believe that different ways of approach increase the quality of the discussions and offer new, original and better solutions for socio-economic and ecological challenges.
Structure: The EYS ’09 will consist of lectures from young change makers and respected personalities, workshops and team work. Topic of the discussions will be “I/You/We/The Youth can and want to contribute with something to the solving of global challenges!”
