Description
TABCON, the Turkish-American Business Conference, is an annual event organized by TABC, the Turkish-American Business Connection. Started in 2005 and held every year since, TABCON strives to bring the U.S. and Turkey closer together by promoting business cooperation and increasing awareness in areas where both countries can benefit. Every year TABCON addresses relevant topics that hold promising opportunities for those individuals or companies looking to do business between the two nations.
This is achieved by inviting prominent speakers from both the private and public sectors to address important issues that affect both countries. TABCON is also the place to learn about possible joint-venture opportunities by exposing companies from each country to their counter-parts.
In addition to having an international scope, TABCON also fills a niche on a more local level. Recognizing that entrepreneurship is a vital key factor for any healthy, growing economy, the conference tries to assist individuals who seek mentors, partnerships, or venture funding to take their business idea and see it through to success. Past conferences have had entrepreneurs get in touch with the right person or organization to assist them with their personal business venture.
