At this conference, prominent speakers from international and local institutions will examine and discuss the latest scientific research and evidence - particularly in the field of food, nutrition and lifestyle - for preventing women’s cancers, including cancers of the breast, ovary, cervix and endometrium. Among our speakers are two Expert Panel members of the WCRF/AICR Second Expert Report: Food, Nutrition, Physical Activity, and the Prevention of Cancer: a Global Perspective.
As recommended in the WCRF/AICR Policy Report, Policy and Action for Cancer Prevention, everyone in society has a part to play in cancer prevention and public health promotion. The final session of this conference will focus on how health professionals and other sectors of society can play their vital role in cancer prevention.
