Digital Image and Speech Processing: Latest algorithms in image processing aid in restoring, enhancing and recognizing Images. Speech recognition has lead to the development of human interaction systems
Wireless Communication: Evolution of wireless systems have fast paced the technological advancements leading to Mobile and Cellular Communications. WiMax, broad band wireless Access networks are a consequence of such evolution. Development of optimization techniques has lead to the increase in Quality of Service.
Network Security: In the scenario of increased wireless access, user mobility and device mobility ,addressing security issues have advanced to the required levels .Threats of attacks have all been Countered with the help of cryptographic algorithms like MD5 ,Blowfish etc., digital signatures, Authentication Techniques have added to the development of new algorithms.
Multimedia System: streaming video, Internet Multimedia applications have been instrumental in carrying forward the development of Multimedia technologies.
