The Conference will be organized by the joint efforts of two IWA Specialist
Groups: on Design, Operation and Maintenance of Drinking Water Treatment
Plants and on Design, Operation and Economics of Large Wastewater Treatment Plants.
The conference will focus on the topics covering knowledge and achievements
in design, operation, cost and economics of wastewater and drinking water
treatment plants, also in treatment processes, conventional and advanced
technologies of this sphere.
Specialists from research, design and academic organizations utilities,
enterprises of water-sewage facilities, technology designers and equipment
manufacturers will take part in the event.
The Conference Secretariat encourages potential authors to submit a paper and
to come to Moscow to attend the Conference.
Conference registration fee: IWA members 350/400 EUR, non-members 450/500 EUR.
Expected number of attendees is 250-300 Russian and International delegates.

The Conference will take place in conjunction with ECWATECH - the leading water
and wastewater technology trade fair in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe.
In 2008 ECWATECH attracted more than 800 exhibitors from 33 countries and about
11700 professionals came as visitors. In 2010 Organisers expect it to be at least at the
level of 2008 despite crisis times.
