RAEP 2009 (Recent Advances in Environmental Protection), an international conference and exhibition that is being organized by Chemistry Department, St. John's College, Agra, India on December 17-19, 2009. More than 500 delegates from about 50 countries are expected to participate. The conference will mutually help in evolving sustainable perspective plan for preserving and protecting our environment.

Agra, Royal city of Taj Mahal, has many historical monuments which attract thousands of tourists everyday.

You and your colleagues are requested to participate in RAEP 2009.

Your support is solicited for the success of RAEP 2009.

You are also requested to motivate instrument suppliers, entrepreneurs, consultants, publishers, industrialists, traders etc. in the field of environment to display their exhibits.

Abstract Submission
Please type your abstract using New Roman Times font on A4 size paper in MS Word. Abstract should not be more than 500 words, typed single-spaced. There should be a margin of 2.5 cm margin on all sides. Type the title of the abstract using a font size of 12; the names of authors, institutions, e-mail address and text in 11-font. Underline the name of the author who will present the paper. Abstracts may be submitted as an attached Word file by e-mail to rp17_in@yahoo. com.

If online submission is a problem, you may send a hard copy of the abstract on A4 size paper, which must be accompanied by CD containing your abstract in a Word format file, to the conference Convener:

An exhibition will be organized at the conference venue on December 17-19, 2009. Instrument suppliers, entrepreneurs, consultants, publishers, industrialists, traders etc. in the field of environment are invited to display the exhibits. The participants will be provided with enough room for their exhibits.

Each unit of 3x2 or 2x2 m includes space, spotlights, power plug, information desk, two chairs, 24-hour security and cleaning service and free listing in the Exhibit Directory.

Registration To participate in the conference, delegates for the conference need to fill in the Registration Form and remit the registration fee. The fees for different categories of delegates are as follows: Registration fee for delegates Upto October 15 After October 15 (Early bird fee) (Late fee) Foreign Delegate Academician from a developed nation US $ 200 US $ 250 Academician from a developing country US $ 100 US $ 125 Delegate from an industry or private organization US $ 300 US $ 350 Indian Participant Faculty/scientist Rs. 2000 Rs. 2500 Research scholar/student Rs. 1000 Rs. 1250 Delegate from an industry or private organization Rs. 3000 Rs. 3500 Accompanying members need to pay 50% of the above amount in each category. Registration fee includes conference bag, souvenir, abstract book, get-together party, coffee break, lunch, banquet and half-day excursion around Agra city. It does not include the cost of accommodation, other meals, transportation, and post-conference tours. The organizing committee will not provide conference materials to an accompanying person unless the latter pays the full registration fee. Research scholars and students may be asked to submit a letter in support of their bonafide status from their respective institution head.
