More than 500 biopharmaceutical industry executives, innovators, CEOs of emerging companies, leading academic scientists, and early-stage investors, will gather at the Life Sciences Summit 2009 to explore collaborative opportunities to develop next-generation technologies and product candidates for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of human disease.

Program Features

Therapeutic Roundtables that explore new frontiers in commercially promising breakthrough science. Focus areas include neurosciences, oncology, cardiovascular disease, and regenerative medicine. Each track will feature a 2-4 sessions that will focus on new developments in a specific area of research. Session speakers will be academic researchers interested in collaboration with the biopharmaceutical industry.
Emerging Company & Innovator’s Showcase featuring the most commercially promising licensing, investment, and partnering opportunities. Emerging companies, defined as companies being incubated at universities, and innovators, including inventors and technology transfer officers, are invited to to apply for a 15-minute presentation slot.
Business Workshops will address those issues of most concern to the CEOs and management of emerging life science companies, with a particular focus on those issues that are unique and which present great challenges in the life sciences sector.
On-line & On-site Partnering Forum that will allow you to profile your organization or science before and during the event, to connect with other attendees to discuss opportunities for licensing and collaboration. On-site meetings will be scheduled before and during the conference by mutual agreement.
Plenary Sessions & Keynotes that will engage the audience to think about the future of science, innovation, and human healthcare in the 21st century and the opportunities and challenges for industry and academia.
