One Voice International Conference and Forum Theme
There are several related themes for this unique, educational happening:
PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS TO ISSUES IN EDUCATION
Issues plaguing education CAN be resolved but only if the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) of education identify them
and then design their resolutions. The answers lie in the heads, hearts and hands of these SMEs, meaning
educators, professors, lecturers, instructors, and teachers, the audience of One Voice. These events are designed
to act as a global megaphone for the voices of these valuable resources, the only ones with the training, experience,
skills, and passion to do the job.
UNITY AMONG EDUCATORS ACROSS THE NATION AND AROUND THE WORLD
There are millions of educators in the United States alone, and billions across the globe – yet their voices have been
too quiet and often ignored by those who make the decisions in education. One Voice seeks to unite educators and
their voices to create a positive roar for changes in education. One Voice events are designed for maximum
interactivity, bonding, sharing of scholarly work and other talents by attendees. One Voice is about coming together
for much more than sharing papers and food – but about sharing a unique, hip experience that will create memories
and professional associations, maybe even friendships with local and global peers.
ADVOCACY AND RESPECT FOR EDUCATORS EVERYWHERE
We live in a world in which those who appear on screens and magazine covers are those elevated to a level of
respect once only enjoyed by scholars. Many types of professionals have been shown a lack of respect across the
board, including physicians are now referred to and treated as simple “service providers,” and teachers who have
become in many cases simply proctors of aggressive testing practices. One Voice is about restoring the rightful.
Admired and appreciated position of respect and autonomy to educators in the world. In elevating educators to such
a position, One Voice brings attention to the value, importance, expertise, dedication, skills, and training of educators,
and their essential contribution to society and the human condition.
