They will also learn the vocabulary and context of technical terms that are used in written reports and presentations they may attend.
Who Should Attend
Introduction to Petroleum Geology is designed to introduce oil and gas personnel to the tools and techniques used in the practice and profession of petroleum geology. The seminar is suitable for anyone in the oil industry, but will be particularly useful for those working with or supporting geoscientists, especially engineers, geotechs, technologists, administrators, G&G secretaries and marketing and finance personnel. No previous geological background is required or assumed. The sessions will include both the scientific foundation and the practical applications of geology.
