Unison in Industries brings together job seekers, employers, service providers, and venders to expand employment opportunities for individuals with barriers to employment and the companies that hire them.
For-Profit businesses, community organizations, educational institutions, and government agencies unite to stimulate the economy and to build relationships in the greater bay area to promote job opportunities and to provide transition options to underserved populations, such as individuals with disabilities. For the first time in almost 20 years, the Unison in Industries (U in I) conference aims to unite the forces of the North Bay, East Bay, and South Bay to serve the community.
San Jose, CA, USA (www.baced.us) – The Unison in Industries (U in I) 2009 conference is coming to the bay area November 12, 2009. Almost two decades since the last mass collaborative employment focused conference, the community unites again to serve businesses and job seekers alike.

Local industry leaders, businesses and community partners are expected to fill the Crowne Plaza Hotel this fall and tickets for the event have become a desired commodity.
A collaborative effort of this magnitude send the message to community leaders that although budget crises are very prevalent and many participating organizations are experiencing financial downfalls, that the need for complete unison in industries toward one mission is vital; if the Bay Area is to stimulate the economy through job creation and employment opportunity to those who need it most, each industry must come to the table willing to take as well as to give to one another.
