The 5th Annual Asia Gas Congress 2009
Venue: Renaissance Beijing Hotel
|Event Date/Time: Oct 29, 2009||End Date/Time: Oct 30, 2009|
The unprecedented economic downturn and market turbulence have, to some degree, eased the supply crunch in Asia but certainly created great uncertainty in the long term picture. High construction costs and credit crunch have long been reasons for supply project delays. For sure supply bottleneck may still come in sometime of the next decade, depending on how long and how heavily demand suffers from the current downturn.
The recent CBM-fed LNG deal signed between CNOOC and BG is of strategic significance for both companies and for the industry. While BG's QCLNG project is set to become the first of its kind to secure a buyer and a signal of boom in unconventional gas development, it again verifies gas appetite of China which is driven by a quite different consumption structure.
With this in mind, the 5th annual Asia Gas Congress has generated a timely and strategic two-day program: one-day program for new dynamics of gas supply and demand and operation excellence in terminal construction; one-day program focusing entirely on the whole value chain of CBM/CMM.
For 5 years this unique gathering has turned out to be a must-attend event for industry professionals by bringing together leading gas suppliers, buyers, distributors, terminal operators and solution providers. There is little doubt that this year's event will more rewarding and much bigger. Don't miss this chance to take part in a mission-critical event to gauge the pulse of the industry.
