Starting with the basics of administrative law that apply in the regulatory context, the course will move on to cover every phase of the investigation, from planning through writing the final report. The course will incorporate practical exercises that will improve your skills and confidence levels.

This is your chance to learn from top-notch investigators, including a former CLEAR Investigator of the Year, former Commission Counsel of the Walkerton Inquiry, and other distinguished instructors. You’ll also have a chance to network with investigators from a wide variety of organizations, and to learn from their ideas.

New for this offering of the course are two sessions: Understanding the Proper Uses of Investigative Information and Investigating Systemic Problems.

Plus, benefit from two outstanding workshops: Conciliation Skills for Investigators and Search Warrants and Production Orders: Drafting, Obtaining, Executing and Defending.
